Physiotherapy by expert therapists

We have two Fairways Physio clinics, one in Birmingham, Stechford and one in Tamworth, Staffordshire. We offer a friendly and relaxed atmosphere enabling you to feel comfortable in this clinical environment. This encourages good communication to help us understand your problems and find effective solutions. We are specialists in treating back and neck pain, muscle and joint pain and sports injuries. All our clinicians are Chartered Physiotherapists and members of The Health Care Professions Council. Each treatment session is on a one-to-one basis. If you have a preference to be seen by a male or female physiotherapist, this can be accommodated. The clinic is open weekdays and evenings.

Fairways Physio of Birmingham

The clinic is situated on the east side of Birmingham between Stechford and Yardley on Bordesley Green East near Stechford Police Station. It is a well-presented ground floor clinic with good wheelchair access. It has its own private car park to the rear.

Fairways Physio of Tamworth

Formerly known as Tamworth Physiotherapy Clinic, Fairways Physio of Tamworth has been established in Tamworth since 1988, moving recently from 5 Albert Road to 19 Albert Road. The spacious clinic has two fully equipped treatment rooms. The clinic is on the ground floor giving good disabled access.

Steven Harris

Clinical Director/Head Physiotherapist

Clinical Consultant and founder of Fairways Physiotherapy Clinic, Steven Harris, qualified in Sheffield in 1983. He then worked in the NHS for five years before opening Tamworth Physiotherapy Clinic in 1988. He specialises in treating back, neck, muscle and joint pain. He has also worked with top sportsmen including European golfers. In 2006 Steven developed the BodyGolf Fitness Programme which is now sold as a mobile app and available on DVD around the world. In 2008, Steven started the Fairways Physiotherapy Clinic.

Deepshikha Kapoor

Senior Physiotherapist

Deepshikha Graduated in Physiotherapy in 2004 from Khalsa college, Amritsar. She then did her postgraduate Masters in musculoskeletal physiotherapy at Gharwal University, India in 2006. Deepshikha worked in India for five years both as a clinician and a lecturer in physiotherapy and in the UK since starting at Fairways Physio in 2010. She specialises in neck and back pain and has also developed an interest in Parkinsons Disease. Her approach to treatment combines hands on manual therapy together with individually tailored rehabilitation programmes.

Carolyn Stewart

Clinic Administrator

Carolyn has worked at Fairways Physio for the last 6 years.

She takes care of all the administration tasks of the clinic from booking appointments, dealing with enquiries, invoicing etc as well as more technical tasks required to tailor and maintain the clinic databases and websites. She has a varied background having started her career studying Law at university and then working for some 20 years in London for a financial information company before moving into administrative/event organising roles.

All our physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
